Shakespeare in the Schools Tour

Our traveling educational production of The Macbeth could be coming to a theatre near you.

The Utah Shakespearean Festival Shakespeare in the Schools production of Macbeth will be performing in the Randall L. Jones Theatre January 26 and 27, 2006, then spend 3 months on the road through Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.

This educational outreach program consists of three parts: a seventy-five minute version of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, a fifteen minute post-show discussion session with the actors, and workshops for students. The workshops are Stage Combat, Performing Shakespeare's Text, and Developing Character through Improvisation.

This production travels from early January to April with complete costumes, sets, and theatrical lighting.
