Question and Answer

Is your attraction the same as last year?

No! We are in the same location but not set up the same. The full set was broke down and removed. One good thing about this it offers us the chance to make it new and different for you.

What time to you open?

We will open the lobby for ticket sales at 6:30 pm on the nights we are open, but we will not let you enter the haunt until 7:00 pm. You’re more than welcome to stay in the lobby.

Where are you located?

On the corner of 200 West and Center Streets in Cedar City.

What time do you close?

We close at 11 pm. If your in line when we are closing, we will tell the last person in line that they are the last and let everyone in until they get through.

Do you have discounts?

We do offer a dicount coupon available from one of our sponsors or receive a $1.00 discount with a non-perishable donation to the Iron County Care and Share. Only one discount per customer.

What if the weather is bad?

If its raining or cold we are open. We have a heated indoor line so ther is no waiting outside in the cold and rain. We will even entertain you while you wait.

How do we get free tickets?

We do special with our sponsors to give out discounts or tickets, so make sure you promote them. We will also even give a few discounts and tickets away while we are out promoting the haunt. Look for us and we may just have something in our pockets to give way.

Are you handicap accessible?

Yes. The haunt is fully set up for you. Note: If you have special needs please let us know! We do have uneven floors and areas that are tight but that just helps the effect of the scares we provide.

Do you support a charity?

Yes , we do support community charitable organizations and clubs by donating a portion of our profit. We are proud to give the back to our community. The remaining proceeds go to cover the costs of putting on the attraction and towards next year's attraction.

Are animals allowed?

No! For the safety of everyone this is not a place to bring him or her, due to the noise and scary environment we do not allow this. However, if you require an animal for special medical reasons we will do what we can to aid you. Let us know prior to purchasing your ticket.

Why can't I bring my phone?

We ask that you DO NOT bring in the phones as when it rings it disturbs the other customers. Also the lights from the phone can ruin the effect of the scare we are providing. Also we have had people talking while going thought and disturbing other guests.

What happens if I loose something?

Do not stop! After you exit the facility contact the ticket booth and we will have our staff look for the property. But we will not stop the show for your lost article. If the property is not found during the show times we will look for the item that night and you can leave a contact number or address for us to get a hold of you. That is why we ask that you do not bring things in that can be lost.

How long will it take to get through?

We get this question asked all the time and it is hard to answer. We have customers that move very fast from the scares and some that more really slow. This is a hard question to answer. It also depends on the amount of people in line and how fast we are letting them in.

Can I get refused admission after we purchase the ticket?

Sorry but yes, we have the right to refuse admittance of any patron(s) who do not follow the rules and get out of what we determine as controlled. This can be as little as being rude, use of foul language, or more aggressive behavior of pushing, vulgar actions, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else that must be adhered to for your own safety. Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and then being asked to leave without a refund. We respect your rights but the others of who paid also.

Will the monsters touch me?

Our staff will not intentionally or aggressively grab you, however, we are here to scare you and we do get very close to do just that. Please understand we are doing what you paid for us to do. We want you to get your moneys worth, every last cent! However, you do not have any right to touch the performers or staff, we are here to entertain you, not for your entertainment pleasures. You will be asked to leave if you touch the performers or props.

Will I get a refund if I am not scared?

NO! We are sorry if your were not scared, but if you watched every young person exit the haunt. They will all say they were not scared because they do now want to look sacred in the eyes of there friends. Also you have to be willing to let your self be scared, we do our best to scare and or entertain you. Each person has a different level of being scared and we try to reach them of all, but some of us are just not willing.

Can we bring bags in?

NO! You will not be allowed in the building with bags, boxes or other large carrying devices. We will NOT keep the items at the ticket booth of have you leave them outside the facility. Please leave them in your car or at home. This for the safety of everyone in or around the facility.

Can I take photos or videos?

NO! Respect the rights of our performers, they are not paid to have you take photos of them.

Why do you have video surveillance?

We do this for the safety of the facility and you. This gives us an extra eye to ensure that we are keeping things moving along safely and so some people do not attempt to cause harm to our sets, props and/or other guest.

Is it really that scary?

Yes! But that all depends on the person, some people are harder to scare than others. And we will try our best to scare the yells out of you and your friends.

What happens if it is too scary?

For the kids we offer a special code. We tell all children at the entrance that if it is too scary to say "Boo!" at the monsters and this is a password for the performer to back off a little. This will not work for any adult, as it will make it worse. We also have emergency exits from every room to allow for a quick exit if the haunt gets too scary.

Do you offer refunds?

If you have read any of this you know this answer, sorry but no.

Do you offer behind the scenes tours?

We do this only on special occasions and for special events. Ask us about this and we can provide information at the ticket booth.

Do you serve refreshments?

Yes! We offer concessions with items for sale like water, soda, warm drinks, popcorn balls, candy and glow in the dark Tent of Terror shirts.

How many people do you let in at a time?

For your entertainment we only let a few people in at a time. We do this so you have a better scare rather than being all bunched up and herded through. Our performers have some places where they will hold you up just for this reason, you paid good money to get frightened not to see the ones in front of you get the scare. Do what the performer asks!

How can I help?

We are always looking for talented staff members to work with us. Please see the volunteer page for more information.
