History
The Randall L. Jones Theatre, dedicated in 1989, was designed by the firm of Fowler, Ferguson, Kingston, and Ruben, with theatrical design by the California firm of Landry and Bogan, as well as Cameron Harvey, Utah Shakespearean Festival producing artistic director. It was built at a cost of $5.5 million and was featured in the August 1990 edition of Architecture magazine. The theatre is named after a Cedar City native known as the father of tourism in Southern Utah. It features a modified thrust proscenium theatre with 769 seats in two seating sections (orchestra, and mezzanine). The backstage area features four large dressing rooms for eight people each; centrally located restrooms with shower facilities, two fully-accessible dressing rooms and restroom for disabled or elderly performers; and a green room with kitchen amenities (sink, microwave, and full-size refrigerator).

Randall Theatre Lobbies
The lower and upper lobby areas of the Randall Theatre are also available for receptions, meetings and other events. Lobby areas are open, airy, and flooded with natural light through large glass windows; highlights include high ceilings, concessions counters (with refrigerator and sink), movable benches, display areas, and track lighting. The capacity of the lobby spaces will be determined for specific events based on fire-codes.
