Scenery Rentals

Forty plus years of award-winning productions, the Utah Shakespearean Festival has an increasing inventory of scenery that Production Services is proud to announce the availablity for rental to other performing companies. Due to the nature of our company and facilities, we need to setup and strike our scenery each day that we are in performance. The Utah Shakespearean Festival's scenery can be quickly assembled and taken apart. Now your company can also benefit from our investment. All of our sets and scenic items may be completely loaded in and assembled in a few hours. We have designed our scenery items to be extremely flexible in adapting to a large range of stage sizes. Our technical staff will work with you to answer all your questions and make the show a success. Scenery rentals are an important part of our business and we'll do everything we can to make you a satisfied customer!

Rental Rates

The rental rates vary and are based on the size of scenery or scenic item and the length of the rental. The Utah Shakespearean Festival understands the budget constraints of smaller companies and will endeavor to make our rental rates affordable. In addition to the rental fee the Lessee is responsible for insuring and transporting the scenery. Some of our sets and scenic items are also for sale. Fantasticks Set

The World's Longest Running Musical, opened in New York May 3, 1960, playing for 17,162 performances before closing on January 13, 2002. The Fantasticks tells an age-old tale. Its ingredients are simple: a boy, a girl, two fathers, and a wall. Its stage is a wooden platform. Using only these bare essentials, the author and composer have managed to bring to life a funny and quite touching story of innocence--and of knowledge.

In addition to the original, record-breaking run at the Sullivan Street Playhouse, The Fantasticks has established records in various theatres and has played in every state across the U.S. It seems that if you meet anyone who has acted in a high school or community theater, chances are high that the play was The Fantasticks. The Fantasticks is a play for all seasons.

Audrey II

Be sure and check out the complete set of Audrey II puppets from the recent 2003 Utah Shakespearean Festival production of Little Shop of Horrors available for rent. From the smallest pod to the largest, our Audrey II will put you at ease to concentrate on the show itself.
