Scenery & Display Rentals

Forty plus years of award-winning productions, the Utah Shakespearean Festival has an increasing inventory of scenery & displays that Production Services is proud to announce the availablity of scenery, backdrops and displays for social events, school events, theatrical productions, or photographers for rental. Due to the nature of our company and facilities, we need to setup and strike our scenery each day that we are in performance. The Utah Shakespearean Festival's scenery can be quickly assembled and taken apart. Now you can benefit from our investment. All of our sets and display items may be completely loaded in and assembled in a few hours. We have designed our scenery items to be extremely flexible in adapting to a large range of venue sizes. Our staff will work with you to answer all your questions and make the event a success!

Rental Rates

The rental rates vary and are based on the size of scenery or scenic item and the length of the rental. The Utah Shakespearean Festival understands the budget constraints of smaller companies and will endeavor to make our rental rates affordable. In addition to the rental fee the Lessee is responsible for insuring and transporting the scenery. Some of our sets and scenic items are also for sale. Audrey II

Be sure and check out the complete set of Audrey II puppets from the recent 2003 Utah Shakespearean Festival production of Little Shop of Horrors available for rent. From the smallest pod to the largest, our Audrey II will put you at ease to concentrate on the show itself. Production Services also has costumes available!

Rental Policies and Terms

1. All scenery will be kept in a dry, safe and secure location at all times.
2. All scenery will be returned in the same conditions they were when they left Production Services' facilities.
3. All shipping arrangements must be made and paid for by the Lessee.
4. NO alterations of any kind are permitted!
5. A fifty percent (50%) deposit must be received in full prior rental.
6. Lessee agrees to pay replacement value for scenery that are lost, damaged, or modified without Production Services' consent. Production Services personnel will decide whether items are repairable or not.
7. A late fee of five dollars ($5.00) per individual scenery piece, per day will be assessed for any scenery piece that is not returned by the return date.
8. All rental requests must be made in writing on the appropriate rental application form a minimum of one (1) month prior to the rental, a fifty percent (50%) deposit received and will only be considered valid upon receipt of written confirmation of the rental by Production Services.
9. The Lessee and any employees or associates use these items at their own risk and must indemnify and hold harmless Utah Shakespearean Festival, Southern Utah University, its Board of Trustees, the individual members thereof, its employees, agents, contractors, management and staff, officers and directors from any and all claims, losses, damages, liens, liabilities, injuries, deaths, lawsuits and other proceedings, judgments and awards, and costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) or any other expenses asserted against or suffered by said persons or entities resulting from or arising out of any negligence, misconduct or non-compliance with any items rented or applicable laws, ordinances, codes or permit requirements.
10. Neither Southern Utah University or the Utah Shakespearean Festival will be responsible or liable for any legal action taken against the Lessee if they do not procure the rights to perform the production.
